The Cherry Roubaix is back and we hope you’ll be back too! Please save the date and join us as a volunteer this year. The event has expanded to include a Road Race in Leelanau County on the same course that was used for the Michigan State Road Race in the late 1980s. The 12-mile course is a hill climbers dream! A Commuter Classic Relay Event has also been added to the Criterium festivities. Here are the details:


Old Town Crit

  • Saturday, August 29
  • Racing starts at noon and ends around 7 pm
  • Races for kids (4-9 years old) and adults

Road Race

  • Sunday, August 30
  • Racing starts at 8:30 am and ends around 1:30 pm
  • Races for juniors (10-18 year olds) and adults

Michigan Points Series

The 2010 Cherry Roubaix will be part of the Michigan Challenge Race Series, in which riders receive points based upon their finish in a number of events around the state. Series races typically draw more highly-skilled cyclists.
